Edgerton Veterinary Clinic offers a variety of products for internal and external parasite prevention. MONTHLY ORAL TABLETS

Interceptor - Prevents against Heartworm Disease, as well as these intestinal parasites: Roundworms and Hookworms.

Sentinel - Prevents against Heartworm Disease, as well as these intestinal parasites: Roundworms, Hookworms, Whipworms and Flea populations.

ORAL FLEA TREATMENT

Capstar - An oral treatment guaranteed to kill adult Fleas within 30 minutes after ingestion.  Capstar does not prevent fleas, and must be used with a flea preventive(we recommend Frontline).

MONTHLY TOPICAL APPLICATIONS

Revolution - Prevents Heartworm Disease, as well as these intestinal parasites: Roundworms, Hookworms, Whipworms and Flea populations. Also prevents Ear Mites from making a home in your pets' ear canal.  This is a topical liquid you apply to their skin once a month. Currently, if you buy 1 box containting 6 months of prevention, you get 1 additional month FREE! 

Frontline - NOT A HEARTWORM PREVENTATIVE - fleas and ticks are out there during the heartworm season also, so it is very important to prevent any infestations that may expose your animal to Lyme Disease or Anemia. Frontline is used once a month as a topical liquid applied to the skin. It kills flea eggs, adult fleas and ticks.
